Sad to say, but I’m packing up and leaving.  I’m not totally leaving, but I am moving to another space on the web.  I hope you stop by and say hi. :)

Back and refreshed..

Here we are back to life, back to reality.

The babymoon was wonderful, relaxing, and all that I had hoped it would be.  Now if only vacations from vacations were allowed, then I would totally ask for extra days off.

I’ll try to be more vigilent about posting more often and on a weekly basis.  So expect to hear back from me soon. :)

Call me a nerd…

But I just renewed my subscription to one of my favorite magazines.  I didn’t realize that my subscription ended with the June issue (so that means it ended in May).  I can’t wait to start getting more of this in the mail.

First piece of the puzzle…

Well technically the second piece of the puzzle.  I’ll show you the first piece at another time.

We are spontaneous people, and I didn’t really care if we were leaving on vacation early tomorrow morning.  Today, I wanted to spend the day out rather than being cooped in.

We picked up the ‘second’ piece of our baby room’s puzzle.  And, I’m so excited because DH ended up saying okay to having a chandelier in baby’s room.  Trust me, it really isn’t super bougie, but it’s so cute.  We picked it up at IKEA, and for all you IKEA fans, you know that this store is affordable.

I’m so excited. I can’t wait till we officially start organizing the baby’s room, and putting things together.

If there’s one thing that I miss…

It’s wearing heels and/or wedges.  I did manage to pull off wearing 3 inch espadrilles this past weekend without any issues, so I’m patting myself on the back for that one.

But aren’t the below wedges so cute?!  I can’t help but fall in love with them.

Vintage Decor…

Hard to distinguish my preference of vintage items v modern/sleek items.

I can’t help but love these vintage pieces of furniture.  I promised myself before summer ends, my husband and I will make a trip out to the city/Brooklyn to check out vintage flea markets and vintage shops for potential missing pieces of furniture that we need to fill in the gaps in our home.

Wish I had room for these items, though.

But what we need in our home is a ‘coffee table’.  I’d love to have a vintage trunk.  Maybe not Louis Vuitton per se, but like I said in a previous entry, I can dream right? :)

Nesting…

I tried Google imaging nesting, as in preparing your home before a baby is born.  And, when I Google image searched it, it came up with the cutest baby shower nesting ideas.  In no way am I trying to throw hints, but I thought this was really cute. :)

Can’t wait…

One week from today is the start of our babymoon.  Can’t wait to be away from it all – relaxing, just the three of us. :)

Nursery Ideas…

Posted on

You will probably be able to tell what sex our baby will be after viewing what my nursery ideas are.

Ideally I’d love to have a chandelier in the baby’s room, but the husband doesn’t want anything dangling from the ceiling.  Boo!  A girl can dream, can’t she?

Here are some pictures that are going to inspire me to eventually decorate the baby’s nursery.
